I must admit, I just adore reading about “young people” (teens and twenties) who are such shining examples of humanity. I think too often teenagers and twenty-somethings get bad raps for being spoiled or apathetic or entitled. (It drives me nuts to have any group stereotyped in that way, but people do it to teenagers all the time, shamelessly. What is up with that?) I would hold these girls — the subject and writer both — up to anyone of any age, and let’s see who suffers by comparison. Bravo for them!
