Have you been wishing that you could nominate someone you know to receive a gift from Abundance By Magic? Well, now you can!
Here are the basics of how this works:
1. You can nominate anyone at all: strangers, friends, family, loved ones. (For that matter, feel free to nominate yourself!)
2. You may nominate as many people as you like.
3. The typical gift, for now, is in the $50 to $100 range. At this point, I seem to be gifting reader nominees on a once per month (or so) basis. This could become more frequent if I start to get lots of lovely nominations.
4. I will never use a recipient’s full name on the site, and I will only use your name if it’s your preference (I’ll use a nickname you provide). I will also never publish anyone’s contact information (such as e-mail address, home address, or phone number). BUT I may at any time publish anything you’ve written about yourself or them. So don’t tell me anything that you wouldn’t want published on the site, where your recipient is likely to see it.
5. There’s a chance that what you have written may be published even if your nominee is not selected to receive anything. (For example, I may create a public page for each nominee, just because it’s so fun to read about wonderful people, and also to give other people the opportunity to gift them.)
6. Enter as much contact information about your recipient as you can, but it’s okay if you don’t know everything. I’m a pretty good sleuth, and can help you find information if the recipient is, say, someone you’ve read about in an article, or the author of a blog you enjoy, and you’re not sure how to track down their info.
7. I cannot (sadly) gift anyone outside of the US and Canada unless they have a PayPal account.
8. I won’t be able to give everyone who is nominated. If you are submitting a recipient, know that I may not be able to choose them, or it may take a while before they are picked. I don’t want you to be disappointed if you submit a wonderful person, and nothing ever comes of it.
Thank you so much for participating in this experiment with me. It gives me such joy, and I couldn’t do it without you!
